Greetings Sacaton Elementary Families,
Welcome to the beginning of 2024! I am so thrilled about the new year and looking forward to an amazing second semester filled with exciting opportunities for our students. Reflecting on the achievements of the first semester, we celebrated outstanding student efforts in the classrooms, recognized achievements with student awards, acknowledged attendance milestones, enjoyed family nights, and engaged in various events spotlighting our students' dedication and progress.
As we launch into the second semester, our devoted teachers are investing time in analyzing student work and crafting lessons that are both challenging and captivating. Our school expectations are that students arrive on time, wear their uniform top, have a clear backpack and an unhooded sweatshirt. This is for the safety of our students and staff.
This semester holds numerous opportunities for student involvement. The cheer squad has already kicked off to a fantastic start, students are expanding their knowledge of agriculture through visits to our on-campus Legacy Orchard, and teachers are busy planning for after school tutoring. Student Council is getting started with elections being held next week.
