We concluded the field trips to ASU in February. The picture I posted is a picture of our ESS Students in the lobby of Sun Devil Stadium. The students were able to tour the stadium on go on the field. Mrs. Rosales sent me this picture. She said the students had experiences they will never forgot. Our entire ESS Department was able to go with the 8th graders on their field trip.
Our expectation is that the students wear the school uniform to school each day and wear a clear backpack. The school uniform is a purple, grey, or light blue shirt. The students did a great job of following this expectation last week. We need to champion that process and do it every day!
Be on the lookout for all communication that the teachers send home with your student(s). I know the science classes have field trips coming up in March. I know Mr. Timms (7th/8th Science) plans to take students to the BioSphere near Tucson. Many teachers are finding field trips that are both are both cultural and educational.
We will have parent teacher conferences after Spring Break. We will send home a flyer with the students as that day gets closer.
