March Header

March 4, 2024

As we gear up for the final week of quarter 3, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your support in guiding our students toward finishing the quarter on a high note. Your partnership is invaluable in our collective mission to nurture and empower our students.

This month, our Capturing Kids Hearts initiative centers around the theme of "Courage." We are focused on helping students understand that courage is not a magical remedy for fear. Instead, courage is a choice to push through fear, self-doubt, and anxiety to do things that feel hard or frightening.

Our expectation is that the students wear the school uniform to school each day and wear a clear backpack. The school uniform is a purple, white, or yellow shirt with dark bottoms.

A friendly reminder: please ensure that you report your child’s absence from school either in advance or promptly at the time of absence. Your timely communication with us is greatly appreciated. In the event of an absence without notification, we will make every effort to reach you via phone. Therefore, it's essential that we have up-to-date contact information. Should your contact details change, kindly inform us immediately. Please also inform us if your child will be absent for an extended period, as students absent for ten (10) consecutive "unexcused" school days may face withdrawal from the school. Additionally, if your home address has changed, please notify our office staff promptly.

This week, your child’s teacher will be reaching out to schedule spring conferences, which will take place upon our return from Spring Break. As always, the Sacaton Elementary School family extends our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones, especially during the upcoming one-week Spring Break from March 11th to 18th.

Let’s finish strong together!

Go Braves!
