Dear Sacaton Elementary Families,
I hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits as we prepare for the Thanksgiving Holiday. This month is a time of reflection, gratitude, and the anticipation of the holiday season, and we have some exciting updates and important information to share with you.
We are thrilled to announce that our school has earned a "B" letter grade for the second year in a row! This is a fantastic achievement for our entire community, reflecting the dedication, hard work, and growth of our students, staff, and families. We plan to have a celebration for our students and will be sure to follow up with details.
Sacaton Elementary School District is implementing enhanced entry and screening procedures. Students may NOT bring hoodies, backpacks, reusable water bottles, or personal bags. Only sealed, unopened water bottles may be carried by hand. All school supplies are provided by the District. Thank you for supporting a safe learning environment.
Thanksgiving Family Lunch: It's the season of gratitude, and we want to celebrate Thanksgiving together as a community. On Monday, November 24th, we will be hosting a Thanksgiving lunch in our Sacaton Elementary Cafeteria. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and share a meal.
Thova (Turkey) Trot will be held on Tuesday, November 25th starting at 9:00 AM. We will be starting the run by the elementary 3rd/4th grade basketball courts.
Holiday Craft Night: We are scheduled to have our Holiday Arts and Craft Night on Thursday, December 11th from 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM in the Middle School Gym.
