The Sacaton community is invited to get ready for one of our most anticipated celebrations of the school year! Our next “Must Be Present to Win” Assembly will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM in the Middle School Gymnasium.
As always, Superintendent Lewandowski will host this high-energy event, bringing all the flare, sparkle, and luminescence of a television game show—while shining a spotlight on the values that matter most to student success.
This assembly goes beyond fun and games. It will highlight and celebrate key themes such as:
Attendance
Positive behavior
Academic excellence
Most importantly: resiliency
Students will see powerful concepts brought to life, including “Home Court Advantage,” “Cross the Line,” “Mission Possible,” and, of course, “Must Be Present to Win.” These themes help define and recognize exceptional student attendance, behavior, and academic achievement.
A New Mantra Is Coming!
This assembly will also introduce a new school mantra centered on student resiliency—the ability to succeed despite the risk factors and challenges that can hold students back. Resiliency is about courage, perseverance, and the bravery required to overcome adversity.
“Be Brave” is more than a saying. Being a Brave is more than our mascot. It is a mindset. It is the pathway to “Make Dust!”
The celebration will feature special appearances by the Sacaton Cheerleaders, exciting games, surprises, and more winners than ever before. We’ll spin the wheel—but remember, you must be present to win!
More fun. More games. More winners. We look forward to celebrating our students and the powerful choices they make every day.
