Dear Sacaton Elementary Families,

This month, our Capturing Kids’ Hearts focus is Kindness. We are continuing to build a school environment rooted in compassion, respect, and understanding. Throughout the month, students will participate in activities and conversations that help reinforce the importance of being kind to themselves and others.

Celebrating Our Cheer Squad!

We are excited to share that our Cheer Squad earned the Lt. Governor’s Award at the River of Lights Parade! We are so proud of our students for representing our school with spirit, teamwork, and excellence. Way to shine!

Culture Night

Our annual Culture Night will be held at the Middle School on Thursday, February 12, from 4:00–6:00 PM. This is always a fun and meaningful event for our community, and we hope to see you there!

Coffee with the Principal

Please join me for our next Coffee with the Principal on Friday, February 13, at 8:30 AM in the Elementary Teachers’ Lounge. Stop by to enjoy coffee, donuts, and some Valentine treats while we connect and chat.

Attendance Matters

Attendance is more than just being present, it’s about actively participating in learning and making the most of every school day. Regular attendance helps students build responsibility, stay engaged, and develop habits for future success. Thank you for supporting your child by ensuring they attend school daily and arrive on time.

Thank you for helping ensure students wear their school shirts each day. As the weather begins to warm up, we will be asking that students no longer bring hoodies to school.

We also ask that students leave toys, collectibles, and other valuable items at home. This helps minimize distractions during learning time and prevents items from being lost or damaged. Thank you for your support in keeping our classrooms focused and safe.

Please continue to stay in communication with me and your child’s teacher as we carry our Month of Kindness from February through the remainder of the school year.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

Go Braves!
