Sacaton Elementary School — B (Highly Performing)
Sacaton Middle School — C (Performing)
These results represent an important milestone in our District's ongoing journey toward improved student achievement and educational excellence.
Celebrating Our Progress
The District's B rating reflects the collective efforts of students, teachers, support staff, administrators, families, and the Gila River Indian Community.
Sacaton Elementary School's B rating recognizes strong overall performance and academic growth. This achievement reflects the commitment of our elementary educators to providing meaningful learning opportunities, supporting individual student needs, and building the academic foundations necessary for future success.
Sacaton Middle School's C rating represents an encouraging step forward from its D rating in 2025. Moving from a D to a C is a significant accomplishment and reflects progress toward improving academic outcomes while continuing to address areas requiring additional attention.
We recognize that improvement does not happen overnight. It requires deliberate planning, consistent implementation, effective instruction, and a shared belief that every student can succeed.
Into the Future — The Future Changes When We Do!
Our District's 2026–2027 theme, “Into the Future — The Future Changes When We Do!”, reflects our belief that meaningful improvement begins with the decisions and actions we take every day.
This school year, Sacaton Elementary School District #18 continues to strengthen its educational programs through:
Implementation of a four-day instructional school week.
Expansion of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to identify and address individual student needs.
Districtwide implementation of SuccessMaker to strengthen reading and mathematics.
Increased emphasis on attendance, student engagement, and academic accountability.
Targeted academic interventions and individualized learning plans.
Strengthened collaboration among teachers, administrators, families, and community partners.
These initiatives reflect our commitment to building sustainable systems that support student learning and continuous improvement.
A Celebration — And a Commitment
While we celebrate these achievements, our work is far from finished. Our goal is not simply to earn higher letter grades, but to ensure that every student develops the academic skills, confidence, responsibility, and determination necessary for lifelong success.
We will continue to focus on improving academic proficiency, accelerating student growth, strengthening attendance, and providing safe, supportive, and engaging learning environments.
Thank You, Sacaton!
To our students: Your effort, perseverance, and growth are the reasons we celebrate!
To our teachers and staff: Thank you for your dedication, commitment, and belief in our students.
To our parents, families, Governing Board, and the Gila River Indian Community: Thank you for your continued partnership and support of public education.
