SACATON SAFETY: There was a FALSE Lockdown Alarm this morning at 10:35 am that went out district wide. All students and staff are safe and followed safety protocols and procedures - we utilized this opportunity as practice. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as safety is always our number one priority.

This week we had some good volleyball games. We didn't come up with wins but we did show great improvement with our Lady Braves. Good Job Ladies!!
At this point of the season, six games are in the books with four more games to go. Of the four games we have two away games and two home games. Let's continue to come out and show your spirit.
The team appreciates you all coming out and supporting them.
Join us for Sacaton Elementary's BINGO FOR BOOKS! This Thursday, Aug, 29 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the ES Cafeteria. Come play BINGO and win books and prizes!

Attached is the scheduled for Season 1 , Girls Volleyball. We are currently in our 3rd game of the season. Come our and support your Lady Braves Monday, Aug. 19th and Wednesday, Aug. 21st. Both games will be played at home.

Due to Sacaton MS having an assembly tomorrow morning, the volleyball team will not have practice today. Facility is setting up for the morning event. Therefore your child will be home early.

Due to not having enough students submitting their physicals for boys soccer, I have canceled the season. We are two games into the season and cannot afford to pay officials for forfeits.
Thank you to the parents/guardians who had submitted the physicals!
Also, if your child will be playing sports this school year, now is the time to get those physicals in.

This is a reminder that physicals for boys and girl's sport for season 1 is due tomorrow, Aug. 12, 2024, by noon. The boy's soccer season will be cancelled if we do not have a full roster with physicals submitted.
Your help getting your child to the clinic will allow boys soccer to continue for the season.
Tomorrow's soccer game against Maricopa Well is a forfeit.
Wednesday's soccer game and the rest of the season will be determined if we have a full team roster.

As you are aware from the parent meeting on Wednesday, July 31st, Physicals were asked to be submitted to the Middle School front office due to games beginning next week August 12th. I have yet to see any of the boys physicals (other than 3 ) submitted.
This is just a reminder to get the physicals submitted asap. Some parents are getting the physicals done at Gila River Health Care as a walk-in.
Your help with getting the physicals done will avoid game forfeits and losing out on funds paid to officials.

The Athletic Department will kick off the 2024-2025 SY with a Parent Athletic Meeting. The meeting will be held at the Sacaton Middle School Cafeteria @ 6:00 pm.
All parents/guardians of students that will participate in athletics must attend. We will see you at the meeting!
