Cellphone Expectations During State Testing
To help maintain a secure and distraction-free testing environment, all students in grades 5–8 will be required to turn in their cellphones at the security check upon arrival. Devices will be collected, tagged with the student’s name, and safely stored until the end of the school day, when they will be returned. IF POSSIBLE, we strongly encourage students to leave their cellphones at home on testing days to help streamline this process and ensure a smooth start to testing. See our testing schedule posted on our webite and social media outlets. Let's support our students in having a great testing season! Testing is April 7 - April 24. We appreciate all the support from home!

To support our students in performing their best, we ask for your help with the following:
Attendance is crucial: Please ensure your child is present every day of testing.
Arrive on time: Students should be in class at the start of the school day.
Avoid early check-outs: Keep appointments outside of school hours if possible.
Reschedule appointments: Doctors, dentist visits, or other non-emergency appointments should be scheduled after testing hours.
Rest and nutrition: A good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast help students focus and do their best.
Your support ensures our students have the best chance to succeed. Thank you for helping us make this testing period smooth and successful!
