Attention Parents/Guardians of Girls Softball! There will be an mandatory meeting for all parents/guardians who have a student playing softball at Sacaton Middle School. The meeting will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 at 4:30 pm at the Softball Field. Please be present so we cover all the basis of the Athletic Policy.

Parents and Community, Game Day! Sacaton vs Cactus (Basketball & Softball) Games will be played at Sacaton MS. Games will begin at 4:15 pm. Come out and support your Sacaton MS Braves! Just a reminder, Sportsmanship is important when attending the games/meets. Go Braves!!

Tomorrow at 4:00 PM is our Community/Family Popcorn Extravaganza. Once again, the Popcorn Extravaganza is tomorrow, March 26, 2024 at 4:00 PM in the Middle School Gymnasium. It will include video and slide presentations of school life. The Cheerleaders will be welcoming everyone in support of this family festivity. The Middle School had a fire alarm set off by contractors at approximately 1:30 PM today. The contractors were installing a video screen in the Middle School Gymnasium and inadvertently set off the alarm. The Middle School evacuated their buildings. The alarm was then released at and school resumed back to its regular schedule. Everyone is safe. Special thanks to the students and staff who executed the evacuation perfectly. Please know safety of our students and staff are our first priority.

Due to the extreme weather conditions this afternoon, ALL after-school activities at Sacaton Elementary and Sacaton Middle are CANCELLED today. This includes: after school tutoring, cheerleading, MCT float decorating, all clubs, and all sports programs. Thank you for your cooperation! Stay safe!

SACATON SAFETY: The District would like to thank all of the staff, students and administrators for their cooperation in handling a potential threat at the Middle School today. The threat was identified and immediately removed from school grounds by law enforcement. We also want to thank all of the parents and guardians for their cooperation while the police department assembled a team of officers to swept the Middle School classroom for any potential threats. Please know the safety of our students and staff is our priority and that the District will go to extreme measures to provide everyone a safe and healthy environment.
